8th grade students took a trip to Wheeling West Virginia's NASA Learning Center to experience what it is like to be an astronaut. They took part in a simulation called, "Mission to Mars". We also traveled to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to explore the Carnegie Science Center and Sports Work.
Roller coasters!! Students made their own coasters with hills, loops, and corkscrews to learn about forces and motion.
Students built water rockets out of 2 liter bottles to demonstrate Newton's Laws of Motion.
